Organic UV filters in sunscreen do get absorbed into your bloodstream during normal use, but there's currently no evidence this causes health problems. The bigger concern right now is environmental: some organic filters contribute to coral bleaching in addition to climate change, which is why certain places have banned them.
This is a literature review article (part 2 of a CME series) that summarizes existing FDA research, scientific evidence, and regulatory history on sunscreen safety rather than conducting a new experiment.
