Findings

After laser facial treatments, people using a panthenol-enriched mask saw noticeably less redness and dark spots by day 3, with improvements continuing through day 14. The mask also kept skin more hydrated and reduced water loss from the skin barrier compared to saline alone—no increased risk of side effects.

Methodology

60 people who had laser treatments were split into two groups: one used the panthenol mask as part of recovery, the other used saline. Researchers measured redness, moisture, pigmentation, and skin barrier function over 14 days.
