The Expert Panel for Cosmetic Ingredient Safety reviewed Ascorbyl Glucoside and Sodium Ascorbyl Glucoside and gave them a safety thumbs-up for use as antioxidants and skin conditioners in cosmetics at current concentration levels. No safety concerns were identified under normal use.
