An expert safety panel reviewed Ascorbyl Glucoside and Sodium Ascorbyl Glucoside—two forms of vitamin C used in skincare for antioxidant and conditioning benefits—and gave them a clean bill of health. They concluded both ingredients are safe to use in cosmetics at the concentrations currently found in products.

The Expert Panel for Cosmetic Ingredient Safety reviewed available safety data on these two ingredients to determine if they're safe for use in cosmetics at typical concentrations.
