Findings

Marula oil didn't irritate skin and significantly improved hydration and moisture in a 20-person clinical study. The oil is mostly oleic acid (69%), a fatty acid that helps skin retain water. Results showed it works as both a moisturizer and a protective barrier on dry skin.
