Findings

Glycolic acid works as an effective peeling agent at concentrations ranging from 20-70%, treating skin texture issues and surface damage across most skin types and body areas. Results show it creates similar improvements to stronger TCA peels in deeper skin layers, though TCA caused more surface damage; however, skin returned to its pre-peel appearance within 2 years, meaning results aren't permanent.
